Georgia & Armenia
I spent several days in June 2024 exploring Georgia and Armenia, ancient Christian nations situated in the naturally dramatic and geopolitically volatile Caucasus region. I visited places associated with the saints credited with introducing the faith to both nations, Nino of Georgia and Gregory the Illuminator of Armenia, as well as numerous monasteries, mostly situated in picturesque rural spots.
